CAP has appointed Tim Bearder to the role of Current Valuation Manager, Cars.

Tim brings 26 years’ industry understanding to the role, which became available due to an internal promotion.

He started his automotive career as a Lotus technician and spent 18 years in the Service sector. Among his prior roles have been Aftersales Manager for JCT 600, overseeing Porsche, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Lotus, Audi and Volkswagen.

Moving into car retail he worked as an Operations Manager for dealer group Lightcliffe Motors, where he rose to Brand Manager for the Volkswagen and Skoda franchises.

Tim’s role at CAP is managing and maintaining the current valuations database for cars as part of the Black Book team.
