PRAISE for the CAP Regatta 2008 has come from multi-franchise dealer group head Danny Palmer, who has already vowed to return next year with victory in mind, after making the top three for overall racing honours.

 

Palmers Motor Company was among guests drawn from across the motor industry for CAP’s yacht racing event staged annually in Port Solent.

 

Commenting after Palmers second appearance at the CAP Regatta, Danny Palmer said: “It is a brilliant mechanism for me to take some of my senior managers out and see how they perform in an unfamiliar environment.

 

“Although everyone has a good time we do not treat it as a jolly but rather as a highly effective team-building event. My guys are still talking about it and I would recommend it to any dealer who is looking for a way to reward or test their teams in an enjoyable way.”

 

Palmers Motor Company operates seven dealerships covering Peugeot, Citroen, Alfa Romeo, Skoda and Fiat franchises as well as a specialist light commercial vehicles site.

 

Danny Palmer added: “As a team-building event it is fantastic. I intend to come back next year - and we’ll be aiming to win.”
