FORD – Has announced changes to the Ka model line-up. The range will continue with the same engines (1.2 litre 69ps petrol and 1.3 litre 75ps diesel) but the trim levels will be re-aligned to: Studio, Edge, Zetec and Titanium.
MAZDA – The new Mazda6 is to make its world premiere at the Geneva motor show in March. It has been announced that six engines will be available: a 1.8 litre petrol, 2.0 litre DISI petrol, 2.5 litre petrol and a 2.2 litre turbo diesel engine with three power outputs ranging from 129ps to 180ps. The new Mazda6 is due to go on sale in Europe this spring.
RENAULT – Has announced the introduction of a new Clio 1.5 dCi 86 Eco2 model. The engine produces a CO2 emissions figure of 98g/km and is expected to be due in the UK from April 2010.
PEUGEOT – Has announced the introduction of a new Euro 5 compliant, 1.6 litre 156bhp petrol engine with a six speed automatic gearbox in the 308 coupe cabriolet. Available in both SE and GT trim levels, the SE will be priced at £23,595 on the road and the GT will be priced at £25,795 on the road.
VAUXHALL – Has announced the introduction of the new Astra ecoFLEX diesel engines. The new 1.3 litre 16v 95ps diesel engine offers a CO2 emissions figure of 109g/km and is available in Exclusiv, S, SE and SRI trim levels. Prices start at £17,920 on the road for the Exclusiv 1.3 litre 16v 95ps ecoFLEX and it is expected to be due on sale 1st April 2010.
