AUDI – Has announced that the new A8 is to be unveiled on 30th November, on the eve of the Design Miami fair, in Miami, Florida.
BMW – Has announced pricing for the new 5 Series saloon model. Prices start at £30,560 on the road for the 523i SE manual, going up to £49,440 on the road for the 550i SE Auto. The new 5 Series is expected to launch in March 2010.
HONDA – Pricing has been announced for the new CR-V, starting at £20,175 on the road for the 2.0 litre i-VTEC SE manual, going up to £30,515 on the road for the 2.2 litre i-DTEC EX auto with advanced safety pack. The on sale for the new CR-V is 1st December 2009.
SAAB – General Motors confirmed yesterday that the proposed sale of its Saab subsidiary to the Koenigsegg Group AB was terminated at the discretion of the buyer.
SKODA – Are celebrating 110 years of engine production at its Mlada Boleslav plant in the Czech Republic and have announced that they intend to produce the new 1.2 TSI 105ps power unit at the plant to debut in the new Yeti model. The engine production provides work for 600 people, with 2,800 units built every day.
VAUXHALL – Has announced the introduction of new special edition Energy models to the Corsa and Zafira ranges. Standard features on the Corsa Energy include 15” alloy wheels, front fog lights and air conditioning, at a starting price of £11,140 on the road for the 1.0 litre 65ps ecoFLEX model. The Zafira Energy includes 16” structure wheels, front fog lights, air conditioning and dark tinted glass, at a starting price of £18,350 on the road for the 1.6 litre 16V 115ps model. The Energy is the direct replacement of the Active and Active Plus models and both Corsa Energy and Zafira Energy are available to order now.
