AUDI – Has announced that the A3 and A3 sportback 1.4 TFSI S tronic and 1.6 TDI S tronic models are now available to order with start/stop.
Prices have been released for the new R8 V10 soft top Spyder. It is due in the UK during the first quarter of 2010 and prices will start at £111,955 for the 6 speed manual and £117,155 for the R tronic.
 PEUGEOT – Will show their new 2+2 coupe, the RCZ hybrid4 at the Frankfurt show. The RCZ hybrid4 is powered by a 2.0 litre diesel engine that produces 163bhp. It is also coupled to an electric motor that produces 37bhp, giving it a total output of 200bhp. The diesel engine will power the front wheels and the electric motor will power the rear wheels.
Prices have been released for the RCZ coupe which goes on sale next Spring. Prices start from £19,900.
SEAT – Has announced the introduction of three new models into the Ecomotive range. The Altea and Altea XL have CO2 emissions of 119g/km and the Leon Ecomotive CO2 output is 99g/km. All three are expected in the UK in early 2010.
 TOYOTA – Will show the concept Auris hybrid at the Frankfurt motor show. The Auris has a full HSD hybrid engine that will go from 0-62mph in around 10 seconds with a CO2 emissions figure of sub 100g/km. Production will start at Toyota’s plant in Burnaston in the second half of 2010.
 Toyota has released photographs of the all new Land Cruiser which will be available with just one engine: the 3.0 litre D-4D diesel. The Land Cruiser will be available with five or seven seats and it goes on sale in the UK on 1st December.
VAUXHALL – Prices were announced this morning for the new Astra, at the same time as the model made its world debut at the Frankfurt motor show. The entry model Exclusiv 1.4i 87ps is £15,675, which is £270 more than the outgoing model. The Exclusiv 1.7 CDTi 110ps is priced from £18,015.
VOLKSWAGEN – The Scirocco GT will receive a new engine with a 10ps power increase from November production. The power increase goes from 200ps to 210ps, along with a price rise of £500.
