AUDI – Has confirmed the Q3 SUV will be produced and is likely to go on sale in late 2011. They also plan to have an excess of 40 models by 2015. In 1999 they had 12 and currently they have 32 models.
BMW – Has announced details of the 7 Series flagship model, the 760Li. The 760Li is powered by a 6.0 litre V12 twin turbo petrol engine that produces 544hp. Prices will be announced nearer its on sale date in September.
CITROEN – Has released prices and specification for the Nemo Multispace. Only one trim level will be available. Engines available will be: a 1.4 litre 75hp petrol (165g/km), a 1.4 litre HDi 70hp diesel (119g/km) and a 1.4 litre HDi Sensodrive diesel (119g/km). Prices start at £9,995 for the petrol and £10,995 for the diesel.
MAZDA – Has introduced a 1.6 litre Sport diesel model to the Mazda 2 range. The 1.6 produces 90ps, goes from 0-62mph in 11.4 seconds and has Co2 emissions of 112g/km. This means the vehicle qualifies for the £35 per year VED band. Prices start at £12,817 on the road for the 3dr and £13,317 on the road for the 5dr.
MERCEDES-BENZ – Has introduced the CLS Grand Edition. It will be produced between June 2009 andlate 2010 with only 560 units available. The Grand Edition will be available with a V6 diesel engine that has a power enhancement to 272hp. Standard equipment will include bi-xenon headlamps, unique 18” 5 spoke alloy wheels and Palladium silver matt finish paint. It is priced at £48,445 on the road.
TOYOTA – The new Verso is to go on sale 1st May. It will be available in three trim levels: T2, TR and T Spirit along with leather and navigation options. Choice of engines will be: a 1.8 litre valvematic petrol or a 2.0 litre D-4D diesel, with a Multidrive S transmission option available on TR and T Spirit petrol models. Prices start at £16,750 on the road.
