BMW – Has released details of the forthcoming X5 M (pictured in above in blue) and the X6 M (pictured in above in red). Both are powered by a 4.4 litre V8 twin turbo petrol engine that produces 555hp, goes from 0-62mph in 4.7 seconds, and has a limited top speed of 155mph. First deliveries in the UK will be 24th October. Prices and full specification will be announced nearer to its on sale date.
KIA – Unveiled their new two door Coupe called the KOUP last week at the New York motor show. There are no plans to bring the KOUP to Europe and it will only be sold in North America.
MERCEDES-BENZ – Prices have been announced for the E Class Coupe which goes on sale later this year. Prices start at £33,285 for the SE and £35,280 for the Sport.
NISSAN – Photographs have been released of the 370Z Roadster which goes on sale in late summer in the UK. The soft top Convertible is powered by a 3.7 litre V6 petrol engine that produces 332hp.
VOLKSWAGEN – The new Golf has been voted world car of the year. A jury of 59 motoring journalists from 59 countries voted for the Golf.
