AUDI – Has announced prices for the new TT 1.8 TFSI Roadster; it will be priced from £23,910. The all new engine produces 160ps, goes from 0-62mph in 7.4 seconds, has a combined fuel consumption figure of 40.9mpg and Co2 emissions of 159g/km.
CITROEN – Are introducing a limited edition version of the C4 Coupe called the ‘by LOEB’. Each car will have a unique plaque in the cabin. It will be available in either red or black and a choice of either white or black 17” alloy wheels. Prices and engine availability: 1.6 petrol 16V VTI 120hp - £14,395, 1.6 16V THP petrol 150hp - £15,395 and 1.6 HDI diesel 110hp - £15,895.
RENAULT – Has confirmed the Kangoo car will go on sale on 5th June and not 1st May as originally planned.
TOYOTA – Has announced the Avensis will be available with the 2.2 D-CAT engine, fitted with a 6 speed automatic gearbox on three models: TR, T4 and T Spirit.
Toyota has produced its one millionth car at its Adapazari plant in Turkey. The Auris is currently built at this factory and the all new Verso will also be built alongside it.
VOLKSWAGEN – Has released prices for the all new Golf GTI. The new GTI is powered by a 2.0 TSI petrol engine that produces 210ps, goes from 0-62mph in 6.9 seconds and has a combined fuel consumption figure of 38.7mpg. Prices start at £22,410 for a three door 6 speed manual and go up to £24,300 for a five door 6 speed DSG auto.
